Director of Nursing

Director of Nursing (12‑month administrative position) provides leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the academic programs, faculty, and staff of the Department of Nursing. This position delivers educational quality, service, and scholarship, and develops organizational strategies for growth and change in the educational environment. The Director will manage day‑to‑day operations of the department, supervise all programs offered, develop course schedules, assign faculty courses, evaluate department faculty and staff, manage the departmental budget, advise students, review and update curricula, hire and supervise adjunct faculty, resolve student complaints, pursue or maintain accreditation of programs, serve on College committees, oversee planning and assessment activities, and perform other duties as assigned.
