**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Director Nursing Perioperative Services at Mercy Hospital of Folsom, you will be responsible for Surgical Services including Main OR, Pre-Op, PACU, GI, and SPD. We have 4 main operating rooms with a robust surgical services program supporting many specialties, and recently became a Center of Excellence for Robotics.

Every day, you will direct the operations, work with Sr. Leadership on key initiatives, and work with the Nurse Manager Periop, Supervisor Pre-Op/PACU, Supervisor SPD, and other front-line leaders to ensure we maintain high standards of patient care. You will advise medical staff, other department heads, and administrators in matters related to patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies. You will communicate the organization’s goals to the staff as we constantly seek to better serve our community by improving patient experience and delivering exceptional quality care.
