Overview

Southlake Residential Care Village — Environmental Services Manager. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Environmental Services Manager oversees the efficient operations of Environment Services, including the Laundry, Housekeeping and Maintenance departments. The Environmental Services Manager works continuously to improve processes within available resources, leading the teams in all three departments in implementing resident-focused services. Ensures residents safety and comfort by following Extendicare’s policies and procedures along with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act 2021 (FLTCA). Making sure to understand the fundamental principles of the act; the long-term care home is primarily the home of its residents and is to be operated so that it is a place where they may live with dignity and security, safety and comfort and have their physical, psychological, social, spiritual and cultural needs adequately met.
