*Purpose of this position:*Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients with a variety of conditions in a variety of settings. Supervises the provision of nutritional services to patients in assigned work area.
*_RESPONSIBILITIES:_*
* Assesses patient’s nutritional needs, develops and implements nutrition care plan and goals for patients based on individualized needs in both inpatient and ambulatory settings
* Assesses appropriateness of nutrition and medication regimen (including diet, enteral, and/or parenteral regimens) and makes corresponding recommendations to the health care provider
* Documents nutritional care provided, patient/client responses to care, and changes in care plan per department and organization standards of care in the electronic health record
