Job Description :

•To oversee design engineers and ensure all structural & fit-out designs conform to project specification and Class requirements •Allocate design tasks to design engineers •Ensure integration of all structure and fit-out •Ensure correct supplier information is used in all structure design •Co-ordinate production details with relevant line managers •Oversee the writing of procurement specifications for major pieces of equipment •Ensure designs comply with technical specification •Ensure designs comply with Class and Flag requirements •Co-ordinate design information for submission to Class and Flag authorities •Assist with developing shipyard standards for Structure and connection details •Oversee and review stability analysis before submission to Class. •Prepare inclining experiment procedures, conduct inclining experiments, prepare inclining report and stability books.
