Description
The Power and Signal Distribution Systems (PSDS) Engineer is a key position responsible for designing and implementing the power and signal distribution wiring systems in GM vehicle programs. This is an electrical engineering role within the Product Development Team in the Electrical SMT. The PSDS DRE works closely with engineers across multiple groups to integrate components, wiring, and systems. The position also involves close collaboration with vehicle program teams, as well as other Product Development organizations such as interiors, body, purchasing, marketing, and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:

+ Provides program-specific sourcing requirements and PSDS technical input for supplier technical reviews.

+ Develops the initial harness parts list and performs complexity studies.
