Overview

:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic national construction business who are looking to recruit a Design Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Swindon depot.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To manage design consultant activities and deliverables to ensure they are completed in line with the agreed programme and Client requirements. This may include more than one consultant.

  • To be the technical lead for the permanent works design on the project unless an Design Manager is present.

  • Ensure both input and output deliverables for the design are tracked and reported to the Project/Engineering Manager as required.

  • Manage the Technical Queries process. Assigning actions and follow up on responses.

  • Manage and communicate all design queries, comments and information required from Design workshops and meetings and keep records.
