Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Deployed Support Specialist to support a Navy mission through 100% onsite presence in Norfolk, VA. The Deployed Support Specialist will provide advanced network engineering, system configuration, deployment planning support, and hands‑on troubleshooting for mission‑critical communications systems supporting Navy deployed units.

Responsibilities of the Deployed Support Specialist include:

  • Provide network technical advice and assistance during planning phases of deployments/exercises
  • Deliver rapid, expert troubleshooting and coordination of solutions during live execution phases
  • Support and administer enterprise network components, including:Routers & switchesFirewallsIntrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)DNS, Active Directory (AD), and Exchange
  • Perform system configuration, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for deployed USMC units
