Job Description

  • Architectuur en ontwerp: Draag bij aan de doelarchitectuur op PostgreSQL en zorg dat deze de huidige Sybase-prestaties evenaart of overtreft.
  • Object-conversie: Ontwikkel en review de vertaling/redesign van complexe Sybase T-SQL patronen naar optimale PostgreSQL equivalenten.
  • Performance Tuning: Identificeer en verhelp prestatie knelpunten tijdens de migratie, inclusief indexering strategieën, query-herschrijving en partitioning.
  • Kwaliteitsborging: Ontwikkel strikte kaders voor datavalidatie om nul dataverlies en functionele gelijkheid tussen de bron- en doelsystemen te garanderen.
  • Mentorschap: Treed op als Subject Matter Expert (SME) voor het engineering team en geef advies over PostgreSQL best practices.
  • Database administratie: Ontwerp en ontwikkeling van scripts voor automatisering van allerhande database administratie en monitoring taken
  • Werk mee als team lid aan de administratie van de bestaande Sybase database omgeving.
