Weir Marine Engineering currently has a challenging opportunity for a Database Application Developer. This permanent position is based at the Naval Engineering Test Establishment (NETE) in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop custom software applications and database solutions;
• Create Web clients for remote (server based) data access;
• Develop solutions for future projects, directly interfacing with customer;
• Develop elegant and efficient front‑end user interfaces;
• Support, upgrade and maintain several current active projects;
• Write technical reports and documents;
