Responsible for ensuring that data is accurate, reliable, secure, and fit for its intended purpose. They play a vital role in maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. As a hands-on enforcer of data governance policies, the Data Steward supports issue resolution, monitors data quality, ensures compliance with established standards, manages specific data elements of moderate complexity, and contributes to broader data governance initiatives.
