The Data Center Operations Manager leads a team of frontline server engineers providing critical server and network maintenance in AWS data centers. You and your team provide 24/7 frontline support, act as first responders to incidents, and support the development and implementation of improvements to maintenance procedures and practices. Data Center Managers must be effective people leaders able to hire, grow, and evaluate talent on an ongoing basis to meet business needs in a rapidly evolving technical environment. You must be able to work independently to manage your team effectively and be able to determine when it is necessary to escalate challenges. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful.
