Job Description
**Data Abstractor (Clinical Registries)**
**Role and Responsibilities:**
Abstract cases for 1+ registries: Stroke, Chest PainβMI, CathPCI, TVT, LAAO, and others.
For each case, review the patient chart in the EHR, identify the required data elements per the current registry specifications, review AI recommendations, and enter them into the abstraction workflow with appropriate documentation of source.
Describe the reasoning behind abstraction decisions to our product team to improve AI recommendations.
Critique presentations and provide subject matter expertise to our GTM team.
**Required Credentials:**
Active certification appropriate to the assigned registry/registries β CPHQ, RHIA, RHIT, or registry-specific training (e.g., NCDR CathPCI/TVT abstractor training).
Minimum 1 year hands-on abstraction experience.
