Credit Controller

Our client is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties include:

1. Credit application approval - vetting & assessment of accounts/renewals and control of all mandates.
2. Interface with Sales Management and Store Management regarding credit decisions and ensure timely review of new customers.
3. Assist with any queries on accounts.
4. Debtors recoveries.
5. Collections of overdue debts on due date.
6. Negotiate documentation and payment terms with customers to ensure transactions are properly secured.
7. Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team.
8. Daily/weekly/monthly reporting to support office and branch level.
9. Review monthly reporting (overdue, collections, handed over matters).
10. Report on the assessment and associated risks.
11. Approving of prepaid accounts/quotes accounts.
