Credentialing Coordinator
FT M-F 8A-4P
Coordination of the credentialing process for Practitioner appointment/reappointment to the Medical Staff in conjunction with local, State and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
+ Coordinates the credentialing process for physician appointment to the medical staff.
+ Ensures along with the Central Credentials Office, that the credentialing process is in compliance with all regulatory agency requirements.
+ Attends Credentials Committee Meeting include material preparation and minutes.
+ Provides consultation, structure and supervision regarding appointment and reappointment process to departmental directors/section chiefs.
+ Serves as liaison with departments and physicians.
+ Handles facets of privileging; temporary, observations, change in privileges, proctoring
+ Responsible for all reviews required for Medical Staff
