Crane/Forklift operator Job Description

Job Summary:

Working as member of Construction Team at site. Operating cranes carrying out daily inspection of crane daily function test working with maintenance staff to ensure crane is correctly maintained in good safe working condition. Operate vehicles involved in the construction and perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles as and when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with rigging staff and lifting staff to inspect the job site and correctly understand the job requirements and suitability of site conditions and access.
• Operate the crane for installation and erection of heavy equipment and for loading and unloading of materials at Project site and lay down yard.
• Carry out daily inspections of the crane and report any defects or deficiencies
• Ensure all safety systems of the cranes are functioning properly.
