Overview

We are looking for Court Security Officers to serve the Gisborne community, ensuring a safe and secure court environment. In this role, you will engage with and support a diverse range of people, maintaining security operations and fostering community relationships.

Responsibilities

• Engage and build relationships with a diverse range of people.
• Conduct security screening and operate CCTV and electronic access control systems.
• Interact with Police, Corrections, lawyers, and Judicial officers to secure court proceedings.
• Patrol public areas, perform building security checks, and respond to duress alarms.
• Identify, mitigate, and report security, health, and safety threats and incidents.
• Maintain and operate x‑ray, walk‑through, handheld metal detectors, and other security equipment.
• Use SRBA, RT, and handcuffing techniques as required.
