Course Lecturer – Fall 2026
Department of Political Science, Faculty of Arts, McGill University.
Position: Course Lecturer for POLI 448-001 Gender and International Relations (3 Credits – CAP 80). The course examines gender‑sensitive and feminist theories in international relations and applies these approaches to substantive issues such as security, violence, peacebuilding, international law, and political economy.
Teaching Responsibilities
Teach the course during the Fall 2026 semester, Monday and Wednesday, 01:05pm‑02:25pm (August31–December4,2026).
Qualifications
- Completed PhD degree or enrollment in a doctoral program in Political Science or a related discipline.
- Evidence of effective teaching ability demonstrated by successful instruction of a similar course.
- Specialization closely aligned with the course content.
- Experience as a teaching assistant for a course is an asset.
