Course Details
Intended to teach laboratory sections of two courses: MIME 200 – Introduction to the Minerals Industry (Lab Portion) and MIME 250 – Introduction to Extractive Metallurgy (Lab Portion). Course runs from August 31, 2026 to December 4, 2026.
Responsibilities
- In charge of the laboratory section for MIME 200 and MIME 250.
Qualifications
- Graduate level training in mining or materials engineering; PhD preferred.
- Hands‑on experience setting up and teaching mineral processing and metallurgy in a laboratory setting.
- Professional Engineering License, P.Eng., preferred.
Salary and Schedule
Salary: $11,824.
Schedule: Friday, 01:35 pm – 03:25 pm.
Location: Wong Lab 2470.
