Course Description and Responsibilities

The lecturer will teach Introductory Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic), covering pronunciation, reading and writing of the Arabic script, and speaking and comprehension of basic sentences, commands, and statements in the present tense.

Teaching Qualifications

• M.A. or Ph.D. degree in Arabic linguistics, literature, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching experience at a university or college level.
• Fluency in Arabic.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written (McGill is an English‑language university).
