Marie in person Hourly Rate: $32.11 – $38.99 Reference #: CCS- JOB SUMMARY Using a strength-based, solution-focused, and family-centered approach within the context of anti-oppressive practice, the Counsellor in partnership with the family, circle of care, and other service providers, will assess and treat children, youth, and their families who are experiencing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. Treatment will include an assessment of need, development of a treatment plan, in-person and/or virtual service provision through individual and/or group therapy, referral to additional services if required, and discharge from service planning including any follow up care. The incumbent may be asked to provide services outside the office in the community and the Algoma District.
