Overview
Costs Manager (Legal Director), Birmingham / Hybrid, ยฃ60,000+ (DOE) - This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with strong analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail to work on high value and complex civil litigation matters. JOB REF:3096
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed Bills of Costs for formal assessment across a range of matters, including inter partes, legal aid, and solicitorโclient cases.
- Compile Schedules of Costs to support summary assessment applications.
- Examine and evaluate case files to identify and extract the information required for accurate cost drafting.
- Work closely with fee earners to confirm case details and ensure all cost documentation is precise and complete.
- Draft and respond to Points of Dispute and Replies when required.
- Monitor and remain informed about developments in costs law, the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR), and relevant case law.
