Role Summary
The Cost Estimator (Shipyard) is responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for ship repair, conversion, and newbuilding projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure timely and precise tender submissions. 1. Cost Estimation & Analysis Prepare comprehensive cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracting for ship repair, conversion, and newbuilding projects. Review project specifications, technical drawings, and client requirements to define the scope of work accurately. Ensure all cost components are documented and comply with industry standards and project requirements.
