Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to support cost analysis, inventory accounting, and financial reporting activities.


Key Responsibilities:

+ Analyze standard and actual costs and investigate variances

+ Prepare and maintain cost accounting reports and supporting schedules

+ Monitor inventory transactions and reconcile inventory accounts

+ Support month-end close processes related to cost accounting

+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis

+ Review manufacturing or operational costs to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities

+ Maintain accurate product costing data and support pricing analysis

+ Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve cost controls and reporting
