Summary

A Core Underwriter will have an assigned agency base and is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, quoting, and declining new and renewal business up to a manual premium of $250K. Will have designated underwriting goals assigned annually - including top line written premium, revenue, new business hit ratio, renewal retention and overall profitability of written book of business. Foster the growth of our carrier and broker relationships. Responsible for maintaining a professional relationship with fellow colleagues and piers while supporting the Workers' Compensation Division as well as all departments that interact with Underwriting.
