Houston Methodist The Woodlands is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine physician to supervise Internal Medicine residents and serve as Core Faculty for the Internal Medicine residency program. This is a clinical faculty position with a strong focus on academic responsibilities. Responsibilities include:
+ Serve as attending/faculty physicians in the residency continuity clinic supervising residents.
+ Provide direct patient care for patients.
+ Assist in developing, directing, and managing the Internal Medicine residency program.
+ Administer and maintain an educational environment conducive to educating residents in each of the ACGME competency areas.
+ Regularly participate in organized clinical discussions, rounds, including journal clubs and conferences.
+ Serve as role models and mentors for the residents.
