He/She not only recognizes the importance of appraising and editing her own work, he/she is becoming skilled at it, as well. His/Her best ideas are not just creatively fresh but strategically sound and on brand, too.

He/She is adept, or becoming adept, at speaking with clients and presenting copy and concepts to them, either in person or over the phone. His/Her colleagues trust his/her to act as a representative of the team and the work. The copywriter may be the only writer on a project, he/she may be supervising a junior writer, or he/she may be working side by side with other writers.
