The Culinary Services department at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a qualified candidate for a Cook position in our Catering & Events department.Β
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist the sous chef with preparing hot and cold food for breakfast and lunch including eggs, pancakes, salads, sandwiches, and soup.
Β - Take inventory and restock products.
Β - Maintain cooking equipment and a sanitary work environment.
Β - Troubleshoot and conduct minor repairs on the kitchen and coffee equipment.
Β - Consistently provide quality food and beverages for all customers by adhering to the menu, health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Β - Interact with customers and coworkers in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
