Job Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare menus that meet nutritional and dietary requirements while respecting cultural and religious preferences.
• Cook and plate meals to high quality, wholesome and attractive standards for residents.
• Arrange and present food trolley to stimulate appetite and enthusiasm.
• Act as the pivotal link between the kitchen and serving areas, ensuring smooth service.
• Coach, motivate and delegate tasks to kitchen staff, fostering personal development.
• Maintain food hygiene, safety and best practice standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• City & Guilds 706 1&2, or equivalent (achieved or working towards)
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Head chef or Head Cook experience in a similar care setting
