Control and Instrumentation Engineer

A multi-discipline engineering and construction company based in Secunda is currently looking for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, industrial protocols, and communication networks.
• Solid understanding of control theory, instrumentation principles, and process automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI).
• Knowledge of Functional Safety.
• Knowledge of Intrinsic Safety.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (beneficial).
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of Instrument Procurement & Inspection (beneficial).
• Knowledge of Honeywell DCS and ESD systems & interfacing with Honeywell.
• Valid Drivers Licence (Code B/EB) and the ability to drive vehicles with a manual transmission.
