Contractor’s Quality Management System (CQMS) is an independent system to evaluate the implementation of quality management system for contractors based on the requirements of Construction Industry Standard (CIS 29). CQMS is also an alternative to the ISO 9001 quality management system that provides a more affordable option for contractors who want to ensure quality management in their organisations. CQMS is recognised by CIDB for evaluation of MCORE/SCORE. CIDB is also pursuing with Ministry of Finance to give recognition as an alternative to ISO 9001.
