**Description:**

**Purpose** : provides expert medication management and safety guidance, primarily reviewing patient regimens for appropriateness, effectiveness, and interactions, collaborating with providers to optimize therapy, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as a patient advocate for safe, cost-effective drug use. The focus is on the _why_ and _how_ medications are used, not just dispensing, by performing in-depth medication reviews and developing protocols.
