Consultant Medicine for Older Adults (5 PAs)

This post provides an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of Consultants and a wider Multi-Disciplinary Team with a significant track record in delivering service change and quality improvement.

The successful candidate will work across four Medicine for Older Adults wards on the University Hospital Monklands (UHM) site, including a well-established 24-bed Acute Frailty Unit. Intermediate care facilities are also available at Coathill and Westermoffat Hospitals, and outpatient activity mainly takes place at Coathill.

Opportunity also exists to work within the Hospital at Home team or to generate a community focus in line with the Lanarkshire Frailty Strategy.
