Consultant Medical Oncologist – HPB & NET

Job Overview: Consultant-level care for patients with hepatopancreatobiliary and neuroendocrine tumour malignancies at The Christie, Manchester. The post comprises 10 sessions per week, contract permanent, and includes outpatient reviews, day‑case units, systemic anti‑cancer therapy delivery, and inpatient care on adult oncology wards. Main Duties

• Outpatient and inpatient reviews.


• Management of patients with HPB and NET malignancies receiving standard therapy and in phase I/II/III trials, including treatment decisions and ongoing care.


• Participation in all relevant aspects of clinical governance, including protocol updates, clinical audit, and maintaining up‑to‑date guidelines under supervision of other consultants.


• Contribution to current research projects and establishment of new opportunities within the disease groups.
