About the RCTS Service

Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua | MidCentral provides Clinical Haematology, Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology services to the districts covering the communities of the Manawatū, northern Wairarapa, Taranaki, Whanganui and Hawke's Bay – a combined population of 600,000. The service delivers inpatient and outpatient haematology care and manages a wide range of haematological conditions, including acute leukaemia, lymphoma, autologous stem cell transplantation, plasma exchange, haemostasis and thrombosis. Inpatient care is delivered at Palmerston North Hospital, while outpatient clinics are run at Palmerston North, Whanganui, Hawera, New Plymou...
