At 1898 & Co., a part of Burns & McDonnell, the Enterprise System Integration (ESI) team delivers technically rigorous solutions that modernize, integrate, and optimize electric utility grid and Operational Technology (OT) systems. We work directly within utility OT environments to implement grid management platforms, enable advanced operational applications, and integrate systems that support reliable, secure, and real‑time grid operations.
We are seeking a Consultant – Grid Systems to perform hands‑on technical consulting and system integration work within electric utility environments. This role is focused on the configuration, analysis, testing, and implementation of grid management systems and supporting technologies. The Consultant executes defined technical workstreams under approved architectures, contributing directly to solution delivery across distribution and grid operations programs.
