The Opportunity

The Medical Department at Te Whatu Ora - Tairāwhiti is looking for Consultant Physicians to join our team. The department consists of eight Physicians with sub-speciality interests, and two Consultant Cardiologists. We currently have two full-time, permanent positions available and are seeking applicants with subspecialty interests, one Renal / Nephrology and the other Cardiology .

We are looking for a physician with a knowledge base and experience within General Medicine including acute medical. We see undifferentiated medical patients being admitted to the hospital and will obtain subspecialty advice from our tertiary centre if required. This allows us to have a broad spectrum of practice.
