Our client, a major employer in British Columbia, is seeking a Construction Officer to join their team. This role acts as a critical site coordinator and inspector on large-scale civil, electrical, and mechanical projects.

This is a 1 year contract with potential to extend. Travel within the province required for site visits (paid for by client). We've placed multiple applicants with this client who have stayed on for long.

What You’ll Do

• Lead inspections on substations, transmission lines, and hydroelectric equipment to ensure compliance with building and safety codes.
• Ensure site safety by performing Safe Work Observations and applying expert knowledge of OSH Standards and WorkSafe Regulations.
• Conduct site testing, surveying, and estimating while interpreting complex engineering drawings.
