Construction Materials Testing (CMT) TechnicianBe the person who proves it’s built right.
You’ll be on active job sites testing materials and verifying work meets plans/specs — the results you capture help keep projects safe, compliant, and moving. If you like field work, variety, and being the “go-to” for quality, you’ll like this role.
What you’ll do (the good stuff)

+ Test materials in the field: soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry (and more)

+ Inspect active construction work for compliance with plans/specs

+ Run more complex tests, capture accurate data, and document observations

+ Write clear field reports (timely + detailed)

+ Communicate results with contractors, clients, engineers, and PMs

+ Help guide other technicians when needed

What you need to have

+ 2+ years in construction materials testing (or closely related)

+ Hands-on experience with soil/concrete/asphalt/masonry testing & inspection...
