Job Description
The Construction EHS Specialist/Safety Manager is responsible for proactively ensuring that all construction activities—specifically structural work, tool installation, and mechanical crafting—are planned and executed safely. This role goes beyond traditional site safety enforcement by actively reviewing construction plans, methods of procedure (MOPs), lift plans, and sequencing to identify and mitigate risk before work begins.
The Safety Manager serves as an independent safety authority on site, partnering with construction managers, superintendents, engineers, and trade partners to verify that every scope of work is built on a safe, executable plan, not just a compliant one.
