**Job Title: Concrete Finisher**
**Job Description**
Join us as a Concrete Finisher specializing in heavy highway and roadway projects in the Tidewater region of Virginia, including Chesapeake, Newport News, and Norfolk. You will smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete on bridge decks, parapets, sidewalks, curbs, and gutters to specified textures.

**Responsibilities**

+ Signal concrete deliverer to position truck for efficient pouring.
+ Move discharge chute to direct concrete into forms.
+ Spread concrete into inaccessible sections with rake or shovel.
+ Level concrete to specified depth and consistency using hand-held screed and floats.
+ Smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete.
+ Finish concrete surfaces and rub with abrasive stone for a refined finish.
+ Remove rough or defective spots and patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy.
+ Mold expansion joints and edges.
