Concrete Finisher III (Advanced)

Position Overview Serves as lead worker in the preparation for construction, maintenance, and repair of concrete projects. Performs a variety of the most difficult, complex, and precise concrete duties to provide a pleasing appearance and a sound structure. Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion joints. Essential Functions of the Job


+ Sets and aligns the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth. Ensures that forms are set in accordance with established grade stakes installing necessary stay braces, utilizing various types of wall ties and spreaders.

+ Spreads, levels, and smooth the concrete; uses a come along, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float.
