Computer Modeling & Simulation Specialist/Engineer

Job Description

The Computer Modeling and Simulation (CM&S) role has the responsibility to provide CM&S capability and support to GDLS-C design teams and Internal Research and Development (IR&D) personnel to ensure functionality, optimum designs and compliance with requirements by running and interpreting computer simulations of GDLS-C vehicles and subsystems, competitor’s vehicles and vendor’s products. In order to fulfill this responsibility CM&S personnel collaborates with designers, IR&D personnel, test team, Project/Systems Engineering to arrive at optimal designs within allocated scope and budget.

CM&S personnel is responsible to maintain and advance state of the art computer modeling and simulation capability at GDLS-C by constantly researching and implementing new simulation technologies, methods and procedures.
