The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a focal point in the organization for technical support specialist (a .k.a. Workgroup Manager) duties, providing computer related assistance and support to organizational users. Responsibilities Performs technical support specialist duties. Performs a wide variety of record keeping, updating existing program Database Management System (DMS), reporting, and informational duties in support of the organization's programs, functions, and projects. Performs computer security duties. Monitors and maintains computers and related peripherals and tracks routine maintenance of existing computer equipment.
