Job Description

To deliver and maintain Engineering CAD and IT systems, encompassing both hardware and software, in support of effective engineering project execution.

  • Co-ordinate, set up and support computer aided engineering systems (CAES)
  • Obtain standards information for SPS/client project specific requirements with PSL CAES and validate systems to be used
  • Set up layering conventions, symbology and drawing sheets
  • Configure workstations for network printing and provide technical support for all printing and plotting activities.
  • Continually review and update SPS documentation and revise /modify to suit client specific requirements
  • Investigate relevant corrective solutions (software developer/internet)
  • Stay up to date with software changes and enhancements.
  • Support CADD users by evaluating new software, testing it against updated documentation, and assisting with the rollout of new applications...
