Overview:
WJCS is seeking Community Habilitation Workers to join our POINT (Pursuing Our INdependence Together) team in White Plains. POINT supports adults, ages 21 and older, with developmental and learning disabilities, to live independently in apartments located throughout downtown White Plains. In this part-time (up to 20 hours per week) position, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with developmental and learning disabilities. The rate is $25.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
+ Assisting in the development of individuals’ Community Habilitation Plans.
+ Supporting individuals in achieving their chosen personalized outcomes and stated goals.
