The Communications Engineer shall manage the complete lifecycle of their team’s deployable communications systems, from initial design and development to installation and ongoing maintenance.

The position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying circuits and components to certify system readiness while also advising leadership on the adequacy of communications services for mission support.

Key duties include integrating new equipment, training personnel on the tactical use of fielded systems, and performing duties as a COMSEC user.
