Further Education College Location: Manchester Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (Agency Placement) Pay Rate: Β£13.00 - Β£15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established further education college in Greater Manchester for a skilled and dedicated Communication Support Worker (CSW) to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), with a particular focus on learners who are Deaf or have hearing impairments.
The Role: As a Communication Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring students can fully access learning by facilitating effective communication between learners and teaching staff.
Students May Present With:
- Hearing impairments / Deaf learners
- Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Additional learning difficulties
