**Job Description**
This position is responsible for leading one of our commodity teams in support of ECS Procurement. This leadership role will help to develop and implement key commodity sourcing strategies to satisfy all objectives. This candidate will help lead a team of buyers to assist the formulation and implementation of sourcing strategies, participate on cross-functional teams to ensure that BAE Systems leverages spend, effectively utilizes resources, drives to best practices and improves overall supplier performance management by keeping track and monitoring metrics. This position works closely with many internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to supply chain management, quality, manufacturing, and programs. The successful candidate must be able to be an effective communicator, build mutually beneficial relationships, be willing to advance their knowledge of procurement compliance, and proactively adopt best practices and support new initiatives.<...
