Position Information:

The Coder Sr. Account Manager serves as the senior member of the Corporate Coding Team by reviewing denials and appeals for coding related issues. Reviews daily Epic work queues and reports status of inpatient and outpatient accounts trending data and predicting fluctuations in A/R for both inpatient and outpatient accounts. Knowledgeable of the revenue cycle CMS guidelines managed care contracts and LCDs. Performs the function of coding DRG assignment collection of predefined indicators and abstracting medical records. Reviews SMART accounts on a daily basis as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
5 Years Coding - Inpatient Or 5 Years Clinical - Related Area And Diagnosis-Related Group Analysis Required
